SolChip developed an autonomous, zero maintenance Precision AgTech system that provides the entire power, communication & AI requirements for full digitization of any crop cultivation. Through our revolutionary everlasting energy product which is based on our patented light chips we are able to supply power to all the farmer needs from various off-the-shelf sensing equipment to even controlling of valves, switches and actuators. This unique product can harvest light-energy even in low light conditions (such as indoor surroundings or greenhouses) and does not require direct sun exposure.
A typical farmer who deploys different sensors in his fields or greenhouses is lost between different, varying, and non-standard equipment types, with each of such having its own system and manual of operations. Worst of all, they would typically rely on either batteries which are a continuous nightmare to replace or have them charged, or solar panels that interfere with the cultivation cycles and are easily stolen or at some cases even need to deploy power-cable connections that are a problem by themselves.
