Bio-Fence is an Israeli food tech and health start-up that developed a unique technology that takes biocides that are commonly used for regular sanitation, such as chlorine or peroxide, and stabilizes them to surfaces. By doing that we prolong the activity of the biocide for hours, days, and even weeks.

Bio-fence technology was proven to be effective in eliminating Listeria and other pathogen bacteria in highly sensitive food production environments.

BIO-FENCE Proof Of Concept -FOOD PRODUCTION PILOT

Environmental pathogens within the food production process remains one of the greatest risks to food safety, with the presence of these bacteria in the production environment directly linked to the contamination of food. 

During the three-week control phase prior to the application of the Bio-Fence coating listeria was detected on a daily basis; following the application of the Bio-Fence coating, Listeria was completely undetectable on the floor surface during day-to-day production.
