Farming is a complex practice. Hundreds of decisions must be made everyday. Most of these decisions are made based on scarce agronomic data. This leads to sub-optimal performance.Ultimately, the result is wasteful application of natural resources and lower profit margins for farmers.

Autonomous Pivot has a solution that maximizes the collection and use of field data. By using novel sensors, machine learning, and robotics, we are able to transform simple metal pipes into an advanced precision tool. Our system is composed of the world's first on-pivot GPR (ground-penetrating radar), our mobile Nitrogen sensor and our Crop Health sensor, with cameras and our connectivity components. Additionally, we collect on location rain data with our rain bucket.

All this information is then uploaded to the cloud. Our measurements are combined with precision weather data from the web and third party aerial images. In the cloud, we've built a proprietary AI engine, what call our AI Agronomist.The data is crunched and we are able to offer not only an accurate presentation of the water that's available in the soil, but go a step further and issue actionable irrigation prescriptions. In doing this, we are able to close the loop and effectively manage the farmers main concerns during the growing season.

All of this information is accessible to the farmer through our Autonomous Pivot app. The farmer is presented with water balance data calculated independently for each of the eight slices of the field. Quickly and easily, the farmer can see rains and irrigation applications for the last week as well as track their available water and the amount of evapotranspiration. Our cameras page shows images from both cameras. With the wield angle lens, you can see a birds-eye view of the field surrounding the GPR from atop the pivot. Our narrow angle lens allows for submillimeter feature detection of diseases, pest and fungi. Weather data is taken from the web and used to calculate ET (evapotranspiration) which is presented alongside our rain gauge data showing natural moisture gains and losses. You can track the location of the pivot and see a precise irrigation history on our pivot page. This page also shows you your irrigation prescription.

Finally, we have our aerial images page. Here, growers can see both thermal and NDVI imagery from a fixed wing aircraft.
