The AgriFoodNEST’s program
The AgriFoodNEST is a six-month acceleration program that started in the beginning of 2021 and aimed to boost the six following French start-ups:
- Mellisphera, a precision beekeeping platform. Launched in 2019 Mellisphera can assess honeybee health and productivity in real time and is currently extending its capabilities to pollination monitoring services.
- Nbread Process specializing in the valorization of the food industry byproducts, by transforming fruits, vegetables, ready-prepared dishes into a textured product, easy to eat, looking like honeycombed sliced bread.
- Vegetal Signals, data from plant electrical activity. Thanks to hardware devices, AI trained models of the plant behavior and optimization algorithms, the technology follows in real time the plant environmental and biological status.
- SAUREA (for "Solar AUtonomous REliable Applications"). The company designs, develops and manufactures the first solar motor in the world, a disruptive technology promoted by 5 patents, 100% ecological, 0% electronic, 100% mechanical.
- Vibrafloor, the innovative silo reclaiming solution using modular vibrating floors. This unique emptying system allows the extraction of many bulk products such as cereals, agro-food products, biomass, stored in metal silos or concrete silos, containers, etc.
These start-ups got prepared in March 2021 and immersed during the French AgriFoodTech week of May 3 to 6, 2021, to make a first virtual step in the vibrant ecosystem of the Start-up Nation, meet Israeli and international investors and initiate strong valued partnerships with Israeli companies.
The AgriFoodNEST Israel 2021 program is supported by key players in the innovation field in France and Israel such as AXA Climate Corporate Venture, Netafim France irrigation company, Shibolet Israeli Law firm and Vcita digital platform.
